It’s Looking Greek To Me

Hi it’s me Cheryl here again.

Boy has the weather changed here in Scotland some really nice days and it’s just before the school’s stop for their summer break.

Well let’s take a look at this week’s project and it’s perfect for your kids to wear on the last day, so let’s go and start crafting.

Craft Materials Used

• Silhouette Reflective HTV
• Silhouette Tool Kit
• Silhouette Transfer Tape
• Blank White T-Shirt

In your software open your file in the design space and you will see that your file opens.

Now you have to decide on the size of mat you will need to use.

I recommend using the 12″ x 12″ mat size if you are using a Cameo machine.

Now you want to adjust the size of the file to suit your t-shirt.

You do this by clicking to get black box around the image making sure you get all the pieces and then right click and group the pieces together.

Then all you need to do is click again and then change your size to fit.

If you are happy then you want to hit send and you will see your screen change here.

Now you want to change your material to Heat Transfer,Reflective, then you will see the settings change to suit your material.

Place shiny side to the bottom of mat with the grey vinyl of the back facing you and if happy then press send to cut.

Note: Because you are using Heat Reflective you will get notice up asking if want to mirror if you haven’t already done so then you can do here.

Now take your vinyl and cut away any excess and with your hook from the tool kit you want to weed away the vinyl around your file until you can see your design and the shiny clear bit.

Now lay your t-shirt on your heat press and put your vinyl down on the t-shirt with shiny side now facing you and then press your design to the temp your heat press recommends.

Once pressed remove your t-shire and then slowly remove the clear tape on the top and your design is now Complete.

I had such great fun making this I love seeing the kids so excited and happy when they finish for the summer.

I suppose you could also personalize by adding their name and year they stopped for summer.
