Let’s Make a Quick & Easy Last Minute Mother’s Day Gift
Is it Saturday night and you have completely forgotten that its Mother’s Day tomorrow?
Well look no further……you can do this simple mother’s day craft with your craft machine, a printer, card and a pair of scissors! In about 15 mins.
Craft Materials Used:
• Silhouette Curio (Or a Silhouette or Brother ScanNCut Digital Cutting Machine) •Cutting Mat (Here we are using the Silhouette Curio Cutting Mat) • White Card • Printer • Double Sided Tape or Glue
Step 1: Choosing Your File
Looking at simple Mother’s Day projects, I found a Mother’s day coupon set and sleeve. I purchased it and pulled it through into Silhouette Studio by double clicking from my Library.
Step 2: Printing The Design
Turn on the registration marks in Page Set Up – This allows your craft machine to cut out the design perfectly once its printed.
Make sure that the design fits within the parameters of the registration marks, if not ungroup the design and move it around, do 2 sheets if needed.
Once you are happy, print the design by going to file print.
Your cutting machine will now read the registration marks and cut out your design.
Step 4: Putting The Gift Together
Once you have your cut out pieces, use the double sided sticky tape or glue to stick together the sleeve and put it to one side.
Your cutting machine will have cut out the holes in your coupons so all you need to do it thread through a piece of ribbon and pop them into the sleeve.
