Easter Kids Craft Project
Wishing you a very Happy Easter!!
Why not get kids involved this Easter and create a bunny wreath.
Craft Materials Used:
• Silhouette Curio (Or a Silhouette or Brother ScanNCut Digital Cutting Machine)
• Cutting Mat (Here we are using the Silhouette Curio Cutting Mat)
• Cardstock
• Glue
• Foam Rings (optional)
Step 1: Choosing The Design
My little girl and I love crafting together so this project was great for us to do together. I wanted to make something that she could utilize so we came up with a bunny 3d project wreath.
Purchase the file and double click on it from your library, It will then open up in Silhouette Studio.
Step 2: Sorting The Design
To make the project easier for me and Liv to do together, I bought a foam wreath, but the design does come with a template for the wreath too. I did not use this for my project.
Looking at the finished image, I sectioned off all the pieces into colours that I want to cut.
Step 3: Cutting The Design
Place the first cardstock on your mat and click send in Silhouette Studio. I am using Cardstock, Textured – Heavy as I find that cuts out the thickness of my card perfectly.
Change the blade accordingly and click SEND. Your machine will then cut out your design. Do this for all of the pieces of coloured card.
Step 4: Putting It Together
Now is the fun part, so grab your little helper!
First of all wrap the foam wreaths (if using them) with crepe paper. We have used pink.
Then, looking at the picture put together all of your flowers. This is an easy project so kids will love it.
When all the pieces are made, please them on top of the wreath to work on placement. We secured the ears and feet first.
Once you are happy, glue them down. I have used the glue gun.
And there you have your finished bunny wreath.
