3D Printed Chocolate Lollipop Mold
Hi all, Corinne here today with a yummy looking 3D Printed Lollipop Mold.
Getting The Design
For my design I used a clip art horses head design.
I brought my design onto the mat within the Silhouette Studio software and used the trace function to trace the outline, then I deleted the picture so I was left with the horse outline on the mat.
I brought a rectangle from the shape function and welded them both together.
I coloured them red so I could see them easily.
I saved this into my file on my PC.
Bringing The Design Into Silhouette 3D
I brought the design into the Alta software using the extrusion tab.
I then resized the design to the size I needed.
Next, I sent the design to be printed.
I printed the design on standard print.
Printing The Design
This is the design once it has been sliced ready to print.
The Printed Design
Once the design had printed, I used the design to make a mold using the ‘We r Memory Keepers’ mold press.
The right-hand picture is the finished mold.
I then filled it with chocolate and added a cake pop stick, I then put it in the fridge to set.
These are a scrummy treat for my grandchildren and the Alta 3D Printer is great as it enables me to make any design that I fancy.
