It’s Denise here today.
Gosh, schools going back already where has the time gone?
I always make cards for my Grandsons for going back to school. They look forward to getting that wee card and a special message inside so these cards are just perfect for them.
Materials Used
• Silhouette Textured Card
• 6×6 Blank Card
Open up your Silhouette Studio Software and go to the top right hand corner where it says Library and click on it and as that’s where your files are.
Look for your file and click on it so it opens up on your design space.
Your file comes into the software grouped so to ungroup it, right click and scroll down for ungroup and click on it so that it becomes ungrouped.
This is a great way if you’re using your card/paper scraps.
I kept it grouped as I was making a couple of cards so this was perfect for me.
Now to cut your file.
Go to top right hand side of the screen and click on send, this is where everything you need to cut your file is.
Click on your media by clicking on the drop down list of medias and click on the one your using. You don’t need to do anything else as it’s all set for you.
No add your media to the cutting mat and cut away!
Now that your file has been cut and has been taken off the cutting mat it’s time to assemble your card.
I cut the file 3 times so I could make 3 cards and I used 3 different colours and changed the colours about and adhere to card by taking the backing off the adhesive card and adhere to card.
I put the file 2 different ways and now your project is done!
This project was very easy to do and the way you can design your card is endless.
Try having a go doing different colours on your card that I’ve done even add a apple cut behind the words.
You could use this project over and over again and like I’ve said designing your card for your little ones at school is endless.
