I have used Printable Kraft Sheets previously and was delighted with the result so was excited to receive them to use in a project for this week.
As this week’s theme is Father’s Day, I thought I would make a scrapbook page celebrating the closeness between my daughter and my husband.
I wanted to use this cut design as a print and cut design.
I set the cut lines to ‘no cut’ on the send panel and then used the colour picker to colour the words and lines with the same colours as on the row of hearts.
Next, to a letter sized design space, I added the phrase and gave it an offset.
I also added 3 sets of large hearts and 4 sets of the smaller ones, remembering to add registration marks to the page.
I then printed and cut this using the recommended settings.
I resized the half doily to 10 ½ ins wide and added my title below using KB Sparkles font.
I was interested to see how well the Kraft paper would cut with this intricate design – the answer was perfectly!
After cutting out my pieces I stuck them onto a piece of white cardstock, with two photos.
All that was left to do was to add some gold splatters and gold hearts.
I added the print and cut hearts to each corner and across the centre of the page.
To print on the Kraft Sticker Paper I used the photograph settings on my printer so that I had a more intense colour. I was really pleased with how my elements looked once printed and cut.
I would recommend trying this sticker paper as it is a fun addition to any craft project.
