Happy Chinese New Year, 2022 is the year of the Tiger. So for this tutorial I am going to show you how to make some personalized temporary tattoos ready to celebrate on 1st February.
Items I Used
• Silhouette Curio and large mat
• Silhouette temporary tattoo sheets – Gold
To celebrate the year of the tiger, I have searched Chinese New Year in the Silhouette Design Store and found a simple image that would look great as a temporary tattoo.
Insert the image into Silhouette Studio by double clicking on the image in the Library.
As this is a temporary tattoo, think about what part of the body the tattoo will be going and resize accordingly.
Then click SEND
Place the gold tattoo paper onto your mat with the gold facing up.
In silhouette, change the material to Temporary tattoo pater, metallic.
Change your cutting blade to 2 and click SEND
Once the design has cut, remove the clear plastic from the top of the design.
Place the temporary tattoo onto the part of the body with the gold facing down.
Using a wet cloth, dab the temporary tattoo.
I hope you have enjoyed my most recent blog.
I have enjoyed creating this temporary tattoo using the gold sheets. Just remember if you are going to give it a try to keep the design simple as you have to remove the clear film from the design.
Please don’t forget to tag me on Instagram so I can see your masterpieces @crafty_vickie
…..my next blog will be a bit of upcycling using a selection of vinyl
