This week I got to play with Silhouette Red Metallic Vinyl!
This week the theme is Christmas so I set about putting this great looking product to use!
It might seem madness posting Christmas projects during the heat of the summer but for us crafters time is definitely counting down already to the festive period.
I cut a piece of vinyl to 12 x 12 and placed 4 of the ‘Merry With Stars’ design at the top and the ‘stars’ design along the bottom.
Once cut I weeded all the unwanted pieces away from the backing sheet to reveal the gorgeous images.
The cut designs were placed on plain white and kraft cardstock and glued to corrugated card.
I started out as a card maker and usually had a last minute panic making cards in December!
Christmas in July is a perfect time to get ahead and make a start on your festive crafting for 2019!
Another Yuletide tradition is my Christmas Journal. I have made it 6×8 size for the last 2 years.
I still leave it to the last minute and do no preparation in advance.
Christmas in July meant I made my first 2 pages ready for embellishing and journaling.
I had a great time with the metallic vinyl and loved completing some Christmas projects early.
