Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year to all our customers. Thank you for your continued support.

Every Christmas I attempt to complete a December Daily or Journal Your Christmas mini album and every Christmas I fail as things get manic around that time and I don’t have the time to finish my album.
Perhaps I will be more successful this year as I have made the ‘bare bones’ of my album already and only have to add photos and journaling.
I wanted to add some pizzazz to my album and used printable foil sheets for the numbers, front cover and frames.
These were printed onto the foil and then cut on my Silhouette Cameo 3.
I placed the pages onto a design space and added the other elements I needed to complete my album.
I cut these from Silhouette Chipboard Sheets.
To achieve the 13 pages I needed I cut page 1 x 3, page 2 x 3, page 3 x 3, page 4 x 2 and page 5 x 2.
I needed 26 pieces of paper to cover my pages and an additional 4 pieces for the covers.
I also needed to cut patterned paper to cover the spine and the frames.
There is a blog post from Carina Gardner (the designer of this album) here which gives detailed instructions on how to put your album together.
To finish my album, I added frames (only adhered on 3 sides to enable me to slide a photo in) and used scraps of paper as small photo mounts / journaling spots.
Things I Would Do Differently
1: I wished I had used coloured card for the spine rather than chipboard as the chipboard shows.
2: Also, another change I would make is that I would have added the pages the other way up so that I could leave the top open for additional photographs to be slotted in.
3: Finally, I think I would have preferred the covers to have been slightly larger than the actual pages.
