Scratch Off – Will You Be My Bridesmaid Cards
Silhouette Scratch Off Sticker Sheets
This week we are focusing on using Scratch Off Sticker paper (like you get on lottery scratch cards) for a Valentine theme.
I went a little ‘off piste’ as I have used it to make some fun ‘Will You Be My Bridesmaid?’ cards for my daughter, who is getting married next year.
Preparing The Design
My daughter chose a watercolour effect print and cut design which I resized to fit a standard 4in x 6in card and drew the appropriate sized rectangle around it, adding two to each letter sized page.
Adding The Text
I added a white rectangle to the centre of the design and each Bridesmaid’s name in black using a block font and then the question in a script font.
Printing The Design
As I was going to use a bronze sketch pen for the script writing I removed it by using Ctrl X before printing and put it back in exactly the same place by using Ctrl V.
Adding The Scratch Off Sticker Paper
After printing and using the bronze sketch pen for the question, I cut the cards out.
Next cut six pieces of Scratch Off Sticker paper, the same size as the white rectangle, to cover the names and ‘Will you be my Bridesmaid?’
Gifting The Cards
Gracia was absolutely thrilled with the cards and so were her Bridesmaids – they thought it was such a fun idea to have a scratch off panel as shown by Francis scratching it off to reveal the question!

There are so many possibilities for using this media.
I showed it to a friend and she is going to try to make a scratch off bingo card
