Hey Everyone! Jordy back at it again with another blog post.
It’s Christmas in July over here at Silhouette UK. Can you believe it is already July? There are only 21 weeks left ‘til Christmas so you best get crafting!
This week the featured product is foil sticker product, I’m lucky enough to get it in everyone’s favorite colour – Rose Gold!
The foil sticker paper comes in 8 sheets, measuring 8.5 inches by 11 inches. It’s also printable.
You could use this for a million amazing projects! Let’s get into it…
I won’t lie to you guys, this project changed 5 times. I had nothing but problems, but I’m putting that down to the heatwave. My poor machine just can’t handle the heat, and neither can I.
I wanted to do a print and cut design, but unfortunately for me – my printer seems to detest letter size paper!
I decided to go for a more basic design, and make some cute countdown stickers for my planner.
Because I can’t seem to get my printer to play nice, I opted to make stickers just by cutting them!
Once you have found your file and put them into your studio page, you can resize them and get ready to cut!
I loaded my paper onto the cutting mat and sent it through my Portrait 2. I opted to double cut, to make sure it cut perfectly. I found this material was a little bit thicker than my normal sticker paper.
Once cut, you can put the tabs in your planner! They are super cute and I can’t wait til it gets to December and I can see them again.
I hope you all enjoyed this blog post.
I know the project was a little bit basic, and it wasn’t what I originally had planned. But I still think it is super cute and I cannot wait to countdown to Christmas with these rose gold tabs.
Happy crafting!
