New Year’s Eve Frame
Hi, Denise here.
How are you all doing, enjoying the festive season?
Today’s project is about New Year’s Eve so I decided on my project and new I was using a frame as it can sit in my unit.
Well lets get started on our project.
Materials used.
Silhouette Adhesive- Backed Textured Cardstock
Metallic Adhesive Vinyl
Opening Your File
Open up your silhouette software.
I was using a frame for my project so on your page set up menu go to media size and click on custom then put in your required measurements which mine was 8”x10” so I reduced my size down to 7.500” and 9.500” that measurement just fits in nicely.
Now go to top right hand corner where it says Library click on it and as that’s where your files are.
Look for your file and click on it so it opens up on your design space.
I added the 2022 and used the font I was happy with.
Cutting Your File
Go to top right hand corner and click on send and that’s where you’ll find everything to cut your media, on the right where it says media type click on it and a drop down menu will show scroll and look for your media and click on it the rest will be done for you.
Now add your media to your cutting mat and load into machine. Cut all parts out and lay them to the side.
Adding media to the frame
First I got the adhesive backed cardstock I used white and trimmed to size to fit the backing of the frame so white colour was showing through the glass.
Next I got my vinyl parts and added transfer tape to it I had scraps of transfer tape re-useable one so used the parts to transfer to the glass on the frame.
I also cut more stars out to add around the “Sparkle into the New year and 2022” Now your project on your frame is complete.
