Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year to all our customers. Thank you for your continued support.

Hi it’s me Cheryl again, yes you heard me right Fa La La La it’s Christmas in July and I personally would have Christmas all year round.
If you don’t know me it’s my most favourite time of the year and I can’t wait to share this week’s project with you.
When asked to make something Christmassy with printable sticker foil. I had 1001 things that I could make but what you are about to see I think is absolutely perfect especially for someone like me with O.C.D.
Silhouette Printable Sticker Foil (Gold)
Slate Plate
Wet glue
I decided to cut the phrase out but you can also print it onto this type of foil as well.
In your software open your file in the design space and open show design space settings under the view tab.
Make sure you have Letter set as page size and select your appropriate mat.
It’s at this stage you can (if you want to) you can resize your text to a more suitable size for your project e.g bigger or smaller.
Once your text has been resized then it’s ready to be cut. Send it to cut and make sure your settings are suitable, you can see mine in the picture.
Remember to change your material drop down to Printable foil and the rest of settings should be fine so send to cut, although if you are unsure always run a text cut first so you don’t waste your media.
Once the text has been cut out I would advise to weed the unused foil to reveal your text.
Now, carefully, one piece at a time, I removed and stuck the foil onto the slate.
Tip: Slate is naturally uneven to you might need a small bit of glue to hold the foil down where the surface isn’t quite flat.
Once you have got all the text onto the Slate you can decide here if you want to add anything else like some glitter but I really like how this one looks.
Voila your project is complete!

Well, I loved making this project and I could easily make Christmas Projects out of all the different Silhouette Materials. It’s about this time we should start thinking about (if you haven’t already started) thinking about Christmas cards and gifts.
I found this project really easy to do, but just because it was easy doesn’t mean it won’t look good. I absolutely love how this has turned out and I’m going to be 40 this year but I still believe this quote is true for me.
From one extreme to the other, for my next project I’m heading to the Rewind Music Festival, lets hope the sun shines bright.
I hope you can join us and send us what you have made and add it to our blogs, we would love to see.
