Hi everyone, Verity here today from PrettyLittleButton.
Creating your own puffy stickers is a great way for adding interest to your cards and add a fun texture at the same time!
Load the Mexican Skull Box into your design space.
Taking one of the outline skulls, open the offset window and create an internal offset.
This piece will be cut out of white card and go inside the card and create a space for your to write your greeting on.
Taking the two outline skulls, position them on your design space and slightly overlap the two skulls.
Open the modify window and elect weld to adhere the two skulls together creating one continuous design.
Using a line, draw a vertical line down between the two skulls and turn this line into a dash line.
When the design is sent to cut, this will create a score line for your card to fold.
Cut all the design elements for the card out of card of your choosing and adhere together.
To create the puffy sticker accents, take the design elements of the skull and colour these in using the fill tool.
Position these onto your design mat.
Make sure you turn the registration marks on and switch the paper size to Letter size to match the size of the sticker paper included in the doming kit.
Send this to print and allow the sheet to dry before adhering the clear laminate sheet over the top.
Next load the design onto your mat and do a kiss cut with your machine.
Once cut, remove all excess sticker paper leaving only the printed elements on the backing sheet.
Follow the instructions included in the kit for mixing the resins.
Apply the resin over the printed elements with the syringe being careful not to go over the edge.
Leave the element to dry over night for at least 12 hours.
Once dry, remove the stickers from the backing and adhered onto your card.
