Cool, Bright, Sweet & Fabulous | Cool Pages Layout

– Ohhhhh soooo cool –

So I found this lovely cutfile on the silhouette store and decided to jiggle it around a bit so I could use it for a layout.

I used textured card and cut it out on the heavy cardstock setting and passing through twice to get a nice clean cut.

So I took my cutfile off of the mat and backed it with a rainbow sheet of paper from Paige Taylor Evans whimsical collection.

Once stuck down I put the whole words back into place so I could get the centres of the letters back in the right position.

I left the words in the layout whilst I flicked the layout with water colour paint.

Because I only had a limited amount of space for my photos I trimmed them down as close as I could before mounting them on some coordinating paper and then overlapping them so they would fit.

I started adding some stickers to the layout, a wiggly line her, a button there…

I also added a heart ephemera on foam risers.

I found some more little saying stickers that I dotted round the layout and a bright red tassel bow to the photograph.

I had almost finished the layout… it needed something more…I found some ribbons and added them around the photos and then added my journaling to complete the layout.

I love working with Silhouette’s cutfiles, they are so easy to cut and manipulate into what you want. I was really pleased with the end result of this layout…another one to add to the boys collection.
