Hi all!
I’m back in the kitchen today making some bonfire night themed cupcakes with the Silhouette Alta.
The Alta 3D Printer enables you to make quick cake toppers with ease!
First, I brought my designs onto my mat one by one and placed an offset of 0.15 around them.
I ungrouped them so I had a base layer and a top layer.
I used the drawing tool to make an oblong and welded it to my offset shape.
I have coloured it in red so you can see it.
I then saved each one to my file so I could then take it into my silhouette Alta software.
I took my designs from the file one by one into my Silhouette Alta software and printed them out one by one.
I used the import as extrusion to print them out.
I had all my designs on the mat with the registration marks and printed them on to white sticker paper.
I brought the cupcake wrapper from the design store and brought it on to the mat.
I duplicated it 3 times, I then filled in the designs with a fill pattern which is in the software.
I chose the sky pattern as I thought that it went well with the bonfire night theme.
I really enjoyed making these cupcake toppers with the silhouette Alta.
The Alta is such a great piece of kit as it enables you to make any toppers that you require and its great that they are reusable.
