Happy Lunar New Year | Silhouette Metallic Vinyl

Hi everyone, Verity here today from PrettyLittleButton.

If you want to create beautiful artwork for your house especially around holidays in the new year, then using your Silhouette just speeds up the process.

What’s more, using metallic vinyl adds a touch a sparkle to the designs without any mess and is so easy to use!

Next, ungroup all the elements in the design package.

You also need to separate the latern design- right click on the design and select ungroup. Remove the red elements from the design and position onto your mat together. Cut all the red elements from Metallic Red vinyl and put to one side.

It is best to the black elements of the lanterns out from black vinyl as they are quite delicate it would be hard to cut out from card.

Cut the remaining elements of the design out of media of your choosing – for this project they were cut out of black card and the sentiment was cut three times to layer up for dimension.

Adhere the layered sentiment to a piece of white card. Peel off the red vinyl shapes and position onto the card. Repeat with the black vinyl design elements and lay over the top of the red vinyl.

Lastly adhere the smaller design elements onto the card and place within a frame to place around the house.
