Autumn Textured Scrapbook Page | Using Silhouette Corrugated Card

Hello everyone.

Today in my blog post I will be showing you how to get the kids involved in creating some textured autumn scrapbook pages.

I started by resizing the canvas size of the page using the page setup menu.

I used the custom settings to create a page the same size as my corrugated card. I then opened my pumpkin file.

I ungrouped the file and filled the page with as many pumpkins as possible.

I then cut them out using the default settings and the white corrugated card.

I then cut out my sentiment from the brown card and the photo frames from orange card stock.

Now the fun bit!

Time to get the paints out and start getting the kids involved.

My kids are still quite small so I set them up with some autumn coloured paints and let them dab paint on the card.

Once the paint had dried it was time to put the scrapbook pieces together.

Once you have all of the pieces assembled you can then put them together as part of your scrapbook page.

You can get the kids to help with that too. First we placed the banner and photo frames on our base card.

Then I got the kids to place the pumpkins they had painted on the page.

Make sure that the corrugated paper is completely dry before trying to remove it from the backing.

I’ll then add photos to the page when we go pumpkin picking later on in the Autumn.

This was a great technique and I really wanted to join in with the kids when they were having so much fun.

So I did a grown up version at the same time as the kids!

I really loved doing this project as I’m always trying to find ways to be creative with the kids.

The effect was really good and it was a great product for adding texture to scrapbook pages.
