Gold Leaf Effect Festival Layout | Silhouette Temporary Tattoo Paper
Wow, that’s all I can say about this fabulous Gold Tattoo paper!
I had the idea that I would use it on a layout but was concerned that it would wrinkle or not stick properly – well, I was so wrong.
It worked a dream and looked like gold leafing on my page – gorgeous.
This tattoo paper is different to the printable paper in that it has a thin plastic coating.
You choose your designs and then flip it horizontally before cutting it.
I also centered mine an ‘L’ shape to ensure I was able to line it up correctly on my page.
Now this was where I thought I would have a problem but it was so easy.
First you have to remove the thin plastic coating from the areas you want to adhere to your project and once placed on the page (I used watercolour paper), face down, I dampened the back and 15 seconds later removed the tattoo paper leaving the design adhered to my page.
To complete my page I wanted to add some embellishments that were also music themed.
I chose a title and filled it with a music themed background paper and gave it an offset. I also cut some print and cut flowers.
I wanted to make journaling strips for my page so wote them in a funky font and added rectangles around them to perfectly cut out the strips.
Love, Love, Love IT!
I absolutely love this media and am considering purchasing enough to use for a class at my monthly crop.
The results on paper/card are stunning and it is so easy to use.
