Stencil A Unicorn T-Shirt | Silhouette Stencil Material Sheets
Hello, Karen here with a quick and inexpensive idea to keep those little ones amused for a little while, whilst they are on their long summer holidays.
Preparing The Stencil
I started by opening a letter sized design area and resizing the unicorn stencil to 4.75 wide and 5.25 tall.
Adding The Quote
I wanted a quirky stencil font for my quote and choose Pina Colada font.
Editing The 'O'
When I had typed my quote, I noticed that the o’s didn’t have any connectors to stop the centre falling out once it had been cut.
Adding Connectors To The O's
Before amending the o’s I decided to change the order of the text.
Then I used the knife tool (1) set to solid (2) and .35 (3) to add the connectors.
Cutting The Stencil Material
The last thing to do was to add a rounded square around the whole design and to cut using the recommended settings.
One To Use Time & Again
This proved to be an inexpensive project to make as I purchased the t-shirts from Sainsbury’s for about £2.50 for two and the pens were from Amazon for £2.65.
An ideal ‘rainy day’ project for the summer holidays.
