The M1 comes with everything you need to get you started in the box including an easy to use and intuitive software package that is compatible with Windows, MAC, Android and iOS devices.

The xTool M1 is unique in the fact that the cutting head features both laser and blade equipped functionality meaning you can cut a huge range of materials from thin adhesive vinyl sheets through to 10mm thick plywood and engrave. Having both types of tool included means the system offers 3-in-1 functionality (laser cutting | laser engraving | blade cutting).

The system and provided software is incredibly easy to use and features an Auto Focus head and a 16MP Smart Camera to give you a crystal clear real time preview of the media that you are processing.

Pre-assembled

Laser Cutting

The M1 is equipped with a 10 Watt Diode Laser that is capable of cutting rigid materials that blade only desktop cutting machines are unable to process. It creates this powerful dual laser cutting beam by grouping two beams into one powerful spot.

The M1 is capable of cutting 3mm Acrylic in one pass (not applicable to translucent acrylic materials) and 10mm Wood products.

Laser Engraving

Because the M1 uses a laser it can also enrave or mark onto a huige range of materials such as slate, coated metals, acrylic, wood etc. The engraving capabilities of the M1 opens up a huge range of personalisation opportunities for the user.

Blade Cutting

The M1 also includes a blade tool which means you can also cut thin craft materials such as self adhesive vinyl, heat transfer vinyl, paper, card and a host of other materials. The inclusion of a blade means that you can safely cut vinyl that is constructed using PVC.

Cutting Materials With The M1 Laser:

The M1 laser cuts and engraves wood, paper, foam, opaque acrylic, fabric, felt, leather, rubber, and stone. About plastic, it can engrave but not cut. When it comes to materials, it engraves parts of metal (stainless steel, coated metal, and anodized material).

Cutting Materials With The M1 Blade:

The M1 Blade cuts vinyl, leather, and felt.
