Silhouette Alta Speciality PLA Filament

These Silhouette Alta PLA Filaments are what allow you to make your 3D Projects, think of them as 3D ink.

These Filaments are special, they are completely BPA free which makes them food safe so you can use them in the kitchen to create bespoke cookie cutters or even wedding cake toppers. PLA stands for Polylactic Acid which means they are fully biodegrable and eventhough this material isn’t widely recycled yet it is sure to be in the future.

Once the PLA Filament is loaded into the head of the 3D Printer and your design is sent the head melts (Filament melts at low & high temperatures) the Filament and begins to layer the PLA in 0.05 – 0.5mm increments until your design is complete.

Each roll of Speciality Filament is 250 grams in weight and is available in 8 eye-catching colours (Bronze | Glow in the Dark | Gold | Marble | Silk Pink | Silk White | Silver | Wood). You can create literally hundreds of shapes just from 1 roll.
